About YCSA
The Yamhill County Sportsmen’s Association is a nonprofit, member-owned club in McMinnville, Oregon. We exist to provide a safe place to shoot, to promote firearm safety and marksmanship, and to bring together people who value the shooting sports and our outdoor heritage. The club is run entirely by its members and board; there are no paid staff. Every improvement to the range comes from members giving their time.
Our Mission
To promote the safe and responsible use of firearms, to maintain quality shooting facilities for our members, to support conservation and our outdoor traditions, and to defend the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.
Our History
Founded on August 17, 1953, the club has served the sportsmen and women of Yamhill County for more than 70 years. [Full club history coming soon.]
The Club Today
Today YCSA welcomes individuals and families. We hold a board meeting and a general membership meeting every month, host regular work parties to maintain the range, and publish a member newsletter, Looking Down Range. New members are welcome.
